Let's Bring Your Vision To Life!

The destination is always unique, so the journey will never look the same twice! We approach each project with efficient design tailored to the specifics of our clients' needs and unique spaces.

Our promise to you is to create a custom outdoor lighting design backed by seamless installation and dedicated service.

What Is Our Process?

01

Dream

Dream with us. What is your vision? Do you wish you could sit out with your family after a long day at work and watch your landscape transform as twilight comes and goes? If only you could relish the work you’ve put into it a little bit longer. Do you pride yourself on your hosting capabilities and yearn to show off more of your outdoor space for some unforgettable summer nights? Do you daydream of how you would arrange your son or daughter’s wedding reception in your own backyard?

02

Design

At this point, we have listened for your core desires and hopes for the project. A few questions and a walk-through begin to bring that vision into focus. Perhaps your outdoor kitchen is a focal point, a path around the side of the house is unusable in the dark, and you are in love with some of the ornamental trees or ancient oaks on your property. Our Trusted Advisors translate your goals to add depth and drama to the evening scene, implement security measures, or make outdoor rooms functional after dark!

03

Integrate

Now that you have finalized a design that enlivens your desire to entertain and alleviates your dark-house-on-the-block complex, it’s time to put that plan into action! We have developed horticulturally-approved practices to protect the integrity of your landscape, timeline, and budget during the construction phase. Connect us with your existing team early in the landscape or hardscape project, and we will facilitate seamless integration of power access and other logistical details that eliminate headaches down the road.

04

Maintain

At the end of the day (no pun intended), an illumination project is about settling into the lifestyle you imagined. Your landscape is an extension of your home, and you have invested too much to miss out on the memories to be made after the sun goes down. We will help protect your investment and keep your system running as originally designed with a preventative maintenance program tailored to your needs. With our proactive service and assessments, you will never have to worry about it again!

What Makes Us Different

Moon Lighting

Moon lighting is a hallmark of Night Light design. Cool-colored rays filter down through a tree’s canopy to create a unique, dappled pattern on the landscape below. Its soft effect mimics that of the moon, granting just enough light to spend hours of the evening enjoying your landscape from inside or out.

Limited Fixture Options

We hand-select a limited set of fixtures for the finest quality, durability, serviceability and longevity. They are curated to allow best practices in installation and minimal depreciation on the equipment.

Thoughtful Mounting

At Night Light, we intend our designs to complement your landscape. So, we manipulate our methods and hardware to avoid any unnecessary disturbance. You won’t find bucket trucks or cleats on your property, damaging the landscape! And we only use arborist-approved mounts in trees.

Horticulturally-Approved Installation

Custom sleeving, adjustable fixtures, and mounting techniques that allow growth cause little or no disturbance to the surrounding landscape. Hand-trenching and thoughtful wire burial preserve the integrity of the lawn and the root systems of trees.

Licensed Electrical Contractors

Landscape companies are often compelled to subcontract out their electrical work when they offer lighting. However, Night Light’s exclusive focus eliminates the extra headache by streamlining or converting existing electricity ourselves! Systems constructed in-house for landscape illumination are a breeze to maintain.

Practices for Longevity

As a design-build-maintain firm, we fashion landscape illumination systems to harmonize seamlessly with existing landscape and hardscape environments over the long term. We mount every fixture for its durability and serviceability. You can call on us for years to come to maintain your system’s original effect!

Insured Climbers

Typical landscape companies can only send climbers up to 15 feet off the ground. However, to achieve our signature moon lighting effect, we often need to mount fixtures much higher. So, we insure our guys to climb as high as they need to!

Visions Become Reality

"What a difference paint and lighting make!! I can’t tell how much we love the lighting. I’m so glad I found your business card amongst the former owner’s papers! If you need a reference, please don’t hesitate to send potential clients our way. You have to do a drive-by at night, as my photos aren’t the best. We’ll definitely be in touch if we decide to add more!"

It’s hard to believe another season is coming to a close. November is a month of change. Trees change color and lose their foliage, temperatures drop below freezing forcing our plants to hibernate, and daylight hours minimize the daytime spent outdoors.
